Taylor Swift announced 1989 "Taylor's Version" last night at on the last concert of the US leg of the Eras Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. We were there at the concert as Taylor confirmed the release date to be on October 27, 2023 during the concert with a picture of the new album cover on huge monitors on her Eras Tour.

Taylor teased her fans throughout the night as she appeared in new blue dresses for some of her Eras performances, including a stunning blue gown for the Speak Now era performances, a beautiful blue dress for folklore era and a cute blue outfit for 1989 Taylor's version.

As she got to the "acoustic set", Taylor mentioned how grateful and overjoyed she was on this tour, watching her fans make friendship bracelets and sharing them with each other, dressing up and facetiming with people to share the experience of the Eras tour. Taylor went on to say "...the fact that you care this much is what has made this tour so special for me".

She continued to say that the last time she was so pleasantly surprised was the last time she announced that she was going to be re-recording her six albums (prior to her move to Republic Records). She went on to say "Since I was a teenager, I wanted to own my music and the way to do was to re-record my albums and call them Taylor's Version". Taylor went on to say that her fight was the fan's fight too and she said "I can never stop thanking you for that!".

She went on to say "Here we are on the last night of the US leg of the Eras Tour...in the 8th month of the year...on the 9th day [sic]. You might have noticed there were some new outfits in the show...there's something I have been planning for a really, really, ridiculously embarassingly long time. Instead of just like telling you about it, I think I'll just show you. 1989 Taylor's Version will be out October 27th"
